The full details of the properties that were seized from Ergys Agas and Ermal Beqiri, as part of SPAK's investigations into the AKSHI affairs, have been revealed. SPAK announced a few days ago that it has seized properties worth 40 million euros, but the court decision obtained by "Pamfleti" provides more details about each property.
According to the decision, 29 assets have been seized from Agas, mainly distributed in Tirana, Durrës and Vlora. These include large areas of land in the Petrela area, land in Lundë and properties on the coast. The list of blocked assets also includes a luxury vehicle “Land Rover Defender” from 2023, one of the latest models on the market, which is owned by him and is now part of the seizure measure. The car is the one below, which was recently denounced by former Prime Minister Berisha.
The decision data shows that the surface area of land registered in Agas's name alone amounts to approximately 78,961 m², or approximately 7.9 hectares. This includes mainly forest and field properties in the Petrela area, as well as several plots of land in Tirana, Durrës and Vlorë. This considerable surface area of land constitutes a significant part of the seized assets.
Meanwhile, in the case of businessman Ermal Beqiri, the focus of the investigation is 10 assets, including land, buildings, commercial units and vehicles. What stands out is the seizure of a luxury yacht type “Predator 50 Skyfall”, a sailing vessel of the British manufacturer Sunseeker, with a length of about 14.5 meters and equipped with two engines. According to the data, the yacht is registered in the name of a third person, but is considered related to Beqiri and is estimated at around 1 million euros.
In total, the area of land seized in Beqiri's name amounts to around 3,090 m², or around 0.3 hectares, distributed mainly in Tirana and the coastal area of Vlora, including properties in well-known residential complexes.
The court's decision indicates that the assets are suspected of having been obtained illegally and are related to crimes such as corruption, violation of equality in tenders and money laundering. In addition to the real estate, companies, bank accounts and numerous luxury vehicles have also been frozen.
The seizure operation has been extended to several cities and was executed by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation and the State Police. Investigations continue, while the assets remain under the administration of the authorities until the conclusion of the judicial process.
