While the protest is attracting citizens, young people and left-wing figures, the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party became the clearest demonstration of Edi Rama's political and moral isolation...

Edi Rama had summoned a significant number of socialists to the square near the Air Albania stadium, as a test of strength in the face of protesters who have been mounting a powerful movement against him for two weeks.

Rama gathered his people under the pretext of a festive ceremony, that of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Party, while the real aim was to create the scenography of a crowd for his remote dialogue with those factors that demand his removal.

Factors that are not simply the protesters in the streets, but above all the European powers, with Germany at the forefront, which are in all likelihood involved in an open battle to overthrow him.

Rama also used a dangerous provocation, sending his supporters towards the protesters, with the aim of creating a confrontation.

This too was a message to those with whom he is negotiating remotely.

In fact, the Socialists' party was not a celebratory ceremony, but a typical anti-rally, where the main event was not the party's anniversary, but Edi Rama's speech against the 13-day protest.

Looking at the footage of this anti-rally, what stood out most was the morbid atmosphere reflected in the faces of the socialists gathered in Italia Square.

A gloom that seemed like the real reflection of the decline of power.

A picture in complete antithesis to the atmosphere that was emerging on the boulevard, among the protesters.

Where, in addition to citizens, young people and opposition members, former ministers of Edi Rama and well-known figures from the Socialist Party are increasingly appearing.

Who, precisely on the day their party was born, chose to express support for the protest demanding the removal of Edi Rama.

Former Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati openly declared on social media his sympathy for the civic movement.

While Arta Dade refused the 35th anniversary decoration and chose not to participate in what many considered an anti-rally.

"The soul of the Socialist Party is not in Rama's anti-rally, but in the youth square," declared the former minister and one of the historical figures of the Socialist Party.

The picture that is emerging is clear.

Today, facing Edi Rama is not only a sea of oppositionists and revolted citizens.

A significant part of the Albanian left is also demanding his removal from power.

In all senses, Edi Rama is appearing as a minority.

Politically.

Numerically.

And above all morally.

The image of the anti-rally itself showed this.

A reflection of the deep deformation of a power that seems increasingly tired, more isolated and more moldy by time./ Pamphlet
