Tirana Police continue the operation to capture Sadik Llanaj, the suspected perpetrator of the murder of 28-year-old Ardian Baloshi in Paskuqan.
During a statement to the media, the director of the Tirana Police, Oliger Torba, announced that due to the high risk of the wanted person, a special operational group has been set up, while intensive checks continue on the ground.
According to Torba, so far, more than 20 apartments have been searched, while RENEA special forces have also been engaged in the operation.
"Regarding the suspected perpetrator of the murder, Sadik Llanaj, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the citizens because we have had close cooperation. For this reason, a group has been set up, taking into account his dangerousness, and over 20 house searches have been carried out. Currently, work continues to capture him, and due to the importance of the operations, RENEA forces continue to be engaged and we believe that this person will be captured very soon. We have had very valuable information from the citizens," said Torba.
He emphasized that the information provided by citizens has been important for the progress of the operation, while the State Police continues the search for the location and arrest of the suspect.
