A serious incident has been recorded in the city of Tijuana, Mexico, where the body of a person was found inside a vehicle parked near the "Estadio Caliente" stadium near the training center of the Iranian national team.
According to local media reports, the discovery was made on Friday morning in the parking lot of a supermarket, opposite the stadium where the Iranian national team is preparing for the opening match of the World Cup against New Zealand.
Preliminary information indicates that a gray Toyota RAV4 vehicle had been parked in the same location for at least three days. Inside, the body of a person was found, which, according to authorities, was in an advanced state of decomposition.
After the discovery, police immediately cordoned off the area and launched investigative procedures. Investigators are working to identify the victim, as well as determine the cause and circumstances of death.
So far, authorities have not released additional information on the person's identity or the possibility of criminal elements being involved in this case.
The incident has caused concern in the area near the Iranian national team's training ground, led by coach Amir Ghalenoei. However, according to information so far, the incident has not affected the team's schedule and preparations for its debut at the World Cup.
