Four people have been arrested by Tirana Police as part of an operation against the distribution of narcotics in the capital.
During the operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: ES, 45 years old, ID, 54 years old and F.Gj., 48 years old. They were caught in the area of Rruga e Kavajës with a quantity of suspected cocaine, which they were suspected of possessing with the intention of selling.
According to preliminary investigations, the three arrested people collaborated to secure large quantities of cocaine, which they then divided into doses and distributed in different areas of the capital, mainly in "Ish-Park" and "Brryl".
From the checks carried out, the police seized approximately 350 grams of cocaine and two electronic scales that were suspected of being used for the preparation and division of doses for sale.
Following the operation, citizen ED, 32 years old, was also arrested, who is suspected of carrying out similar criminal activity in various areas of Tirana. During the search of the premises where he worked, officers found and seized a quantity of cocaine divided into over 220 doses, as well as a sum of money suspected of deriving from the sale of narcotics.
In total, over 400 grams of cocaine were seized as part of this operation, part of which was divided into doses ready for sale, four mobile phones, electronic scales and amounts of money suspected of being the proceeds of criminal activity.
"Tirana Police have finalized the fourth phase of the operation codenamed "Zones", conducted against the sale of narcotics in the capital, arresting four people and seizing over 400 grams of cocaine.
The operation was carried out by the Narcotics Investigation Section in cooperation with the "Eagle" Special Force, following information obtained through operational channels about drug sales activity in various areas of Tirana.
As part of this operation, citizens aged 45, 54 and 48 were arrested, who were caught red-handed on Kavaja Street with a significant amount of cocaine that they were suspected of possessing for sale.
According to preliminary investigations, the three arrested individuals acted in collaboration with each other, obtaining narcotics in large quantities and then distributing them in doses in different areas of the capital, mainly in "Ish-Park" and "Brryl".
