The 15th consecutive protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office was accompanied by strong statements from the participants, who continued to call for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and changes in the country's governance.
One of the protesters, speaking to the crowd, stated that the mobilization of citizens over the last two weeks has brought a greater institutional response and has brought citizens' demands back into focus.
"We made this government speak for itself and gain fame around the world. Today is the 15th day that Albanians have come together against evil. Our unity made SPAK and justice awaken ," he said.
The protester emphasized that participation in the rallies has increased significantly compared to the first days of the protest, describing this as evidence of growing support for the civic movement.
"Albanians gathered after 35 years to show that they are the granddaughters and grandsons of Skanderbeg. We started with 2 thousand, yesterday we were 200 thousand in the square ," he declared.
At the end of his speech, the protester sent a direct message to Prime Minister Edi Rama, referring to the head of government's recent statements and the debate over participation in the protests.
"Since you started the monologue, Prime Minister, I have a message: You have the tourists among us, you have the patronageists gone," he said amid cheers from the protesters.
