Protesters throughout today's rally have called for the release of citizens arrested by police following tensions in front of the Parliament. They have raised claims that they were protesting peacefully and that they were provoked by the police, which then led to the escalation.
The citizens' march towards police station no. 3 was accompanied by chants of "the end has come for you," "release the boys," and "Rama resign."
