The well-known figure of Tirana's civic music, Muharrem Gurra, will be honored through a premiere concert that will be held on two consecutive evenings: on April 10 and 11, at 8:00 PM.
Titled "When Two Hearts Fall in Love", the concert comes as a tribute to one of the most prominent names in Tirana's musical tradition, who with his violin and creativity gave life and sensitivity to civic song.
Muharrem Gurra is remembered as an artist who did not simply perform music, but conveyed the spirit and identity of the city. With his unique style and artistic finesse, he left behind an important legacy that continues to be part of Albanian culture.
The concert is realized in collaboration between the artist's family and the National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances, bringing to the stage a combination of authentic tradition with contemporary interpretation.
This evening will feature performances by renowned Albanian music artists such as Merita Halili, Kastriot Tusha, Manjola Nallbani and Artan Bakija, as well as pianist Elvina Gurra.
The direction is by Ada Gurra, while the scenography is by Ergys Krisiko.
This concert is expected to be more than a musical performance, an emotional return to the roots and sounds that have accompanied the soul of Tirana over the years.
