An accident was recorded near the Blue Eye tourist area, in the territory of the Finiq Municipality, where two people ended up in an abyss after losing control of the motorcycle they were riding.
According to preliminary information, one of the injured is a foreign citizen. Both people fell about 15 meters down the road, on difficult and steep terrain, necessitating the intervention of rescue forces.
Immediately after the announcement, Fire and Rescue teams, State Police structures, and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene, which organized the operation to extract the injured from the abyss.
Fortunately, despite the deep fall, both people suffered only minor injuries.
After the rescue, they were transported by ambulance to Saranda Hospital, where they are receiving the necessary medical assistance and undergoing further checks.
Meanwhile, authorities continue their investigations to clarify the full circumstances of the accident and the causes that led to the motorcycle leaving the road.
