The civic protest march is continuing on the streets of Tirana, while hundreds of participants have left the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office and are passing through some of the main axes of the capital.
After leaving the Prime Minister's Office, the protest moved to the Small Ring Road, then continued towards the Vasil Shanto area and the Arrows Palaces. Currently, the crowd has arrived near the "Delijorgji" palace, where it has been standing for several minutes, blocking vehicle traffic on both sides of the road.
With national flags and banners in their hands, the protesters continued their calls against the government and the political class, while at some points they also invited citizens who were in the surrounding bars and venues to join the march.
The temporary traffic blockage has created queues of vehicles in the area, while police forces are monitoring the situation and accompanying the movement of protesters along their route.
After stopping at the "Delijorgji" buildings, the crowd resumed the march, heading towards the 21st December area, where it is expected to continue on other axes of the capital.
Participants consider the march as a continuation of the civic movement that has been taking place in Tirana for weeks, while along the route, chants such as "Rama out", "New Albania", "Your end has come", as well as messages against what the protesters describe as a worn-out political caste, continued to be heard.
As the column of protesters moves towards December 21, the march is attracting the attention of citizens in the areas it passes through, turning tonight into another visible demonstration of civic discontent on the streets of the capital.
