Forty-five days after Yu Ting's disappearance, Greek authorities continue their investigations to uncover her fate, while new evidence and information have been added to the file and are being analyzed by investigators.
One of the leads being investigated is related to a meeting that took place four days before her disappearance in the city of Nice. According to Greek media, Yu Ting met with a retired police officer, two Albanian citizens, a Greek citizen and a priest. It was initially reported that the meeting was related to a church property, but investigators are verifying whether the real topic of discussion was another and whether this meeting could be related to her disappearance.
According to the same sources, Yu Ting did not pursue the cooperation that was proposed to him during this meeting, while authorities are investigating whether this decision is related to the developments that followed.
Meanwhile, her husband has ruled out the possibility that Yu Ting left voluntarily for China. He states that she did not take any personal belongings or clothes with her, there has been no movement in her bank accounts, and she has not contacted family or friends since her disappearance.
Her financial activities are also being investigated. According to the "Live News" show on Greek television Mega, Yu Ting lent money to people in her professional circle through private agreements based on trust. Authorities are investigating whether these transactions could have any connection to the disappearance.
Another element that has attracted attention is the testimony of Yu Ting's sister, who lives in China. She claims to have received information according to which her sister is located southwest of her home and is being held in an apartment with no possibility of leaving. However, Greek authorities have announced that this information has not been confirmed and is not part of the official investigation.
Yu Ting's husband has also dismissed speculation linking his wife to intelligence services or military matters, stressing that she had no involvement in political, military or armaments programs.
Investigations into the disappearance of Yu Ting continue, as Greek authorities are analyzing any evidence and information that could help solve one of the most mysterious cases of recent weeks.
