The 35th day of the national protest is still continuing in the streets of the capital. After marching towards Police Station No. 3, where they demanded the release of protesters arrested after clashes with police on Thursday, thousands of citizens have continued their movement towards Zogu i Zi.
The column of protesters traverses the main streets of Tirana, while participants continue to cheer with the same intensity as during the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
The streets of the capital echo with chants of "Rama go away", "Rama resign", "Your end has come", "Revolution", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison" and "Free the boys", the latter in support of the protesters who continue to be held in detention.
Today's march is the longest and most massive since the start of this civic movement. After the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the stop at Police Station No. 3 and the continuation towards Zogu i Zi, the protest has crossed a large part of Tirana, turning the capital into the center of civic revolt.
The organizers have announced that the protest will not stop, while citizens have reiterated that they will continue the mobilization until their demands are met, led by the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the release of the arrested protesters.
