Rama's birthday is "celebrated" in protest, citizens bring him a cake with a strong message
The national protest on the 35th day in front of the Prime Minister's Office was also accompanied by a symbolic moment, which did not go unnoticed by the participants.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Edi Rama's birthday, the protesters brought a cake, but their celebration was far from a celebration. The message written on it was: " The people congratulate you! Resign, take Saliu with you ."
A concrete cake also appeared on the boulevard, as a symbol of Rama's power, which has concreted everything. Meanwhile, the crowd shouted: " Another 100 years in prison ."

What began as a reaction against the project in Zvërnec has turned into a broader movement against the political class, with protesters demanding the removal not only of Prime Minister Edi Rama, but also the end of what they consider to be the political establishment.
In today's protest, where a high participation of citizens and the diaspora was recorded, the chants "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Revolution", "New Albania", "Resignation" and "Free the boys" dominated, in support of the protesters arrested after clashes with the police during Thursday's rally in front of the Parliament.
Like every day, the protest continues with speeches by citizens from the podium erected in front of the Prime Minister's Office, while the boulevard remains filled with red and black flags, American flags - on the 250th anniversary of US Independence - as well as banners and the flamingo symbol, now turned into the identity of this civic movement.
