Norway Rejects American Food, Brings Its Own Supplies to Training Camp

Norway has transported over 1,000 kilograms of food from its country to the United States for the World Cup.

The cargo included 300 kg of wild Atlantic salmon, 116 kg of traditional Brunost cheese and 6,000 oranges, as well as three Scandinavian chefs, who prepare four meals a day for the team.

This decision was made to keep the players on a familiar eating regimen during Norway's first World Cup participation in nearly three decades.

The Norwegian delegation has set up base camp at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where a full kitchen has been set up. The technical staff has chosen not to experiment with American cuisine, but to stick to traditional Norwegian foods.

According to reports, the main concern is related to changes in diet and the quality of products that could affect the players' performance. For this reason, the Norwegians have preferred to rely on products and recipes that the footballers have long been accustomed to.

Among the foods transported are cheeses, dairy products, and some traditional ingredients of Norwegian cuisine, which are considered an important part of the team's diet.

The decision has sparked numerous reactions on social media, with many fans joking about the fact that Norway is going to the World Cup "with bread on its plate."

However, sports experts emphasize that nutrition plays a key role in the recovery and performance of elite athletes, so teams are often very careful in this regard.

While other teams focus on tactics and on-field preparations, Norway seems to be leaving nothing to chance, ensuring that even the player menu is under complete control throughout the tournament.
