Edmond Hyka alias Mond Mëhalla, it turns out, has been investigated by the Elbasan prosecution and police on the charge of "Laundering the proceeds of a criminal offense", after he had previously been prosecuted and arrested by the justice system of a foreign country as a suspect in drug trafficking.
Journalist Elton Qyno reports that the criminal file for money laundering against Mond Mahalla was opened in 2020 and carried the serial number 1878.
The case in question was followed by the prosecution of the Edlira Bako case, which after almost 3 years of investigation, could not prove the accusation of money laundering with concrete facts, thus sending the file to the Elbasan court for dismissal.
The case was then followed up in the trial phase by Judge Elis Dine, who at the moment is not known exactly what he decided regarding the financial investigation against Mond Mahalla.
Mond Mehalla was the owner of the "Hollyvood Lounge Bar" club. He also owned a gas station "Xhaxhi Oil", in the yard of which he was killed, as well as a taxi and transport company called "EL-Taxi"./Syri.tv
