New details have emerged from the shooting in the city of Elbasan. The victim, now identified as Mondi Mëhallaj, 43, turns out to be a well-known businessman in Elbasan.
So far, it is known that the 43-year-old was the owner of a gas station on the southern ring road of Elbasan. He also owned a taxi service company in the city of Elbasan. Mëhallaj also owned a car rental company.
The victim turns out to have a criminal past, as it is learned that Mahalla has been prosecuted for distributing narcotics and possessing weapons without a license. The victim is known by two names: Edmond Hyka or Mondi Mahalla.
Regarding tonight's assassination, Mahalla is reported to have been shot three times, two of them in the head, as soon as he left his office and got into his car.
