Edmond Mahalla is the businessman who was shot dead this evening in the city of Elbasan. The incident occurred this evening near his "Xhaxhi Oil" gas station on the city's Southern Ring Road.
It is reported that the incident took place at his business premises, on the outskirts of Elbasan. He was found shot with 2 bullets in the head inside his "Range Rover" vehicle, while the police have 'armored' the area by setting up checkpoints on all the city's axes.
It is suspected that the perpetrators were 2 people, but this is expected to be verified by the police. The area where the murder occurred is monitored by security cameras.

The victim is known by two names: Edmond Hyka or Mondi Mahalla, 43 years old. Information indicates that Mahalla has been criminally prosecuted for distributing narcotics and possessing weapons without a license.
Mahalla was on trial for illegal possession of weapons and prohibited items.
