The national team's coach, Silvinho, stated in a press conference before the friendly match with Ukraine that they will face a difficult challenge tomorrow. He emphasized that the match with Poland must be left behind and that we must look ahead.
" We have an important match ahead. Last year was not easy for the national team. We played in the play-off stage, where it was the most important match in history. When you lose, you think everything has gone wrong, but it's not like that. We have a very important match tomorrow. Ukraine is a good team. There are 90 minutes to play for a good result," he said.
Focusing more on the match against Ukraine, Silvinho said that he does not see it as a friendly, but as a good opportunity for the players and teamwork. He emphasized that he will not make many changes in tomorrow's match, but only 2 or 3.
" It's difficult to prepare for a match after the result of the first match. This is the same for both teams. I don't believe in friendly matches. When we go on the pitch, we focus on giving our best. I don't believe that 6-7-8 or more changes can be made. I see it as an opportunity for the players, but also for teamwork. The team needs to be organized. We may have 2 or 3 changes from the first match ," he added.
