A protester who spoke during the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office stated that the civic protest has put both Prime Minister Edi Rama and the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in difficulty.
In his speech, he ironized the positions of both political leaders towards the protest, while calling on citizens to demand their resignations.
The protester stated that "this protest, since the first day, has trapped Edi Rama and Sali Berisha like a mouse in a trap. It has trapped both of them inside. One is jumping and writhing like a fox in the SP headquarters, because sometimes he doesn't like it and sometimes he loves the protest. While the other is a crow."
He also stated that the purpose of the protest is to remove both figures from politics and not, according to him, to gain concessions from them.
"All protesters should demand the unconditional resignation of both Berisha and Rama. We will not leave without the resignation of these intriguers, who have brought us to this state. We are not here for the handouts of Rama and Berisha, we are here to tell them: disappear and go away. They have brought our souls to the tip of our noses," said the rallyist.
The statements were made during the protest held in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where participants expressed their positions on political developments in the country and their demands towards the political class.
