A citizen took the floor on the 38th day of the rally, declaring that the civic movement is strengthening every day and that Albanians are no longer deceived by propaganda.
Addressing those present, the protester said that he felt proud to be part of the protest and that citizens are seeking a different future for the country.
The protester stated: "What makes me proud these days is to say that I am one of you. I have been here since day one and I am surrounded by people who want to change their future. The most beautiful day will be when this country is freed from hyenas and the old caste of those who never thought about the people. This people woke up and there is nothing stopping them anymore, there is no more propaganda to lie to the people."
He also stated that the government's scandals have become known outside of Albania and that this, according to him, has encouraged the participation of Albanians in the diaspora in the protest.
"Their affairs have taken hold, they have become the talk of the world! Everyone sees what is happening. Many from the diaspora are among us today on the boulevard, demanding only one thing: that those who hold the welfare of this country hostage resign!" said the young man.
At the end of his speech, the protester compared the way the government reacts to the protest to the practices of the communist regime.
"This government has been inventing imaginary enemies to justify itself all these days, just like in the days of my uncle. But times have changed and they need to understand one thing: We decide here!", the citizen said.
