Protests against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government continued this evening, entering their 38th consecutive day. Numerous citizens gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office building on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, where speeches by protesters and activists began.

During her speech, protester Luçana Kokaj called on participants to maintain unity and not allow divisions, emphasizing that the common goal must remain above any differences.

"I have a message for those who support the protest, to stay united beyond the small divisions we may have. Everyone may have a flaw, so I call on everyone to stay united and continue the protest," she said.

Kokaj also expressed gratitude to the people who contribute to spreading the protest messages, while asking supporters to avoid unfounded accusations and comments.

"I am definitely very grateful and I believe we are all grateful to those who are doing a fantastic job spreading the protest, but don't slander people without knowing the truth," the activist added.

At the end of her speech, she reiterated the demands of the protest, calling for the resignation of the prime minister and the punishment of those responsible.

"Every day more and more until we achieve our goal, Rama resigns! Rama in prison, Berisha in prison!", Kokaj also said.

The protesters stressed that they will continue their daily rallies until their demands are met.

"I was fired because I didn't secure 5 votes for the SP", teacher: Rama should resign!

Minute by minute/ Speeches and banners, citizens determined to overthrow the

Citizens gathered again today in "Skënderbej" Square, on the 38th day of the protest, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the removal of the government.

As every evening, protesters organized to march towards the Prime Minister's Office, where speeches are expected to be given and demands for political change to be reiterated.

Among the participants was a pensioner, who expressed his dissatisfaction not only with the government, but also with former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

"I call on Mr. Berisha not to interfere here. Berisha is making fun of us. This other guy is even worse than him. Those 4 million euros instead of giving them to pensioners, are being left in the garbage. They are making fun of us. Rama is going to make his Prime Minister's office look nice. Today you need over 150 thousand euros to get an entrance. These people have done nothing for us, nor for the people who are eating and drinking," he said.

A teacher also spoke during the protest, stating that he had been fired for political reasons, as he had failed to secure voters from the diaspora for the Socialist Party.

"We are governed by a criminal organization. This is for screaming, not for protesting. This is to grab the one who leads us by the throat. To take him out of the game. I was at the beach a few days ago, Lana too, the whole of Albania smells like s*t," he said to "News 24".

The citizen continued with his statements regarding his dismissal.

"They fired me, Osman, because they asked me for five names from abroad, voters for the criminal organization. I was a school deputy principal. The girl in England said to me: 'Why are they writing to me to help with the campaign?', while I had not given her number to anyone. I told her: 'They are the morons of the SP for the votes'. They fired me then," the protester added.

Protesters are expected to continue their march towards the Prime Minister's Office, where they will deliver speeches and then march through the main streets of Tirana.

38th day of protest, citizens gather again at "Skënderbej" Square

For the 38th consecutive day, protesters have gathered in Skanderbeg Square, continuing their protest against the government and the political class.

Equipped with banners and flags, they repeated the calls "Rama resign", "Albania belongs to the youth, not the party", "Revolution", "New Albania" and "Your end has come", while expressing that the protest will continue until their demands are met.

As in previous days, after gathering in the center of Tirana, the protesters march towards the Prime Minister's Office building where they deliver speeches, and then continue the march on some of the main axes of the capital.

Citizens of all ages, from young people to families with children, have joined the protest. Despite the fact that in recent days some participants have been escorted and arrested by the Police, and then released, the organizers say that this has not affected the continuation of the protest, which has been taking place every evening in Tirana for 38 days.

A citizen from Italy who joined the protest held in Tirana praised the way the protest is being conducted, describing it as a peaceful and civic manifestation.

"This is the grandest, most civil protest, a non-violent protest, a protest that has never been seen in Albania. It has become a model for imitation in Western countries. We were forced to leave... I apologize to my children and my children's generation for not stopping these scoundrels in time who have taken Albania hostage, stolen our lives and those of our children," he told "News 24".
