Naim Murseli has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Basic Court in Pristina for the murder of his wife, Liridona Ademaj.
After the court hearing ended, Liridona's brother gave a statement to the media, where he emotionally stated that the court's decision has brought partial relief to the family.
"Today is what we have said from the beginning: Naimi and Kushtrim organized this crime. This decision is not only for us, but for Liridona and her children who will never see their mother again. For Kushtrim Kukolla, the lawyer can talk about what sentence we expected for him.
Today's decision has eased our pain a little, it was expected by the entire Albanian people and not just the family," he said.
The Basic Court in Pristina has decided that in this case, in addition to Murseli, Granit Plava will also be sentenced to life imprisonment, while Kushtrim Kokalla will be sentenced to 30 years in prison, for the murder that occurred on November 29, 2023.
