The counting of preferential votes in the Tirana district has been completed. Olta Xhaçka has secured the last mandate of the Socialist Party in this district, defeating her colleague Blerina Gjylameti by a narrow margin of votes.
Previously, Gjylameti had requested from the Central Election Commission the video footage of the counting process in all polling centers in the Tirana district, expressing concerns about the regularity of the process.
Meanwhile, we recall that other well-known figures of the SP in Tirana have remained outside the Parliament, including Pandeli Majko, Etilda Gjonaj and Mimi Kodheli.
