Muçi accuses PS-PD of collaboration: You are avoiding protesters! Balla
Taulant Balla and Redi Muçi

The plenary session was accompanied by a clash between Lëvizja Bashkë MP, Redi Muçi, and the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla.

Muçi accused the Socialist Party and the Democratic Party of closing the plenary session two weeks ago with an agreement to avoid the protesters.

"The protesters are out there. Since Balla spoke about parliamentarism, in the first session two weeks ago, both sides agreed to close the session to avoid the protesters. Balla lashed out at the protesters, accusing them of alleged crimes and lamented the plight of those who are making noise now. A people that does not move cannot feel the chains with which it is bound, the Albanian people have been flapping their arms for 31 days to tear apart the citizens with whom you keep them bound. You should know something, that this people has overcome fear, Albanians are singing down the patronageists. Now that Vučić has fallen from the throne, it is your turn," said Muçi.

The statements of the Lëvizja Bashke MP were responded to by Taulant Balla, who accused Muçi of aiming for a quick closure of the legislature due to a political agreement with his successor on the list. The minister also mocked the participation in the protests, saying that their aim is to gain attention on social networks.

"The MP who just spoke has a very big problem because he wants the parliament to end as soon as possible next year, he must resign his mandate so that the other one can come as they have an agreement. Llapi brought his aunt, the other one brought the one who carries his bag. These are the ones who go to the protests for a selfie and to get a few likes on Facebook. Vučić is not comparable to any Albanian politician. Edi Rama has written his name in the history of this country as the first and only prime minister who, in the middle of Belgrade, has told Serbia's history with regard to Kosovo, he is the only leader who has declared Kosovo's independence in Belgrade. You can't take anything from the Socialist Party by force. I have seen how much you and I have..." , said Balla.
