The famous Albanian film "Mimoza Llastica" will undergo a restoration process, as part of a new initiative to preserve and save the Albanian cinematographic heritage.
The news was announced by the director of the Central State Film Archive , Eljan Tanini, who announced that entrepreneur Teuta Doci will finance the restoration of the film, where she herself was also part of the cast as an actress.
This project marks the first instance of the " Adopt a Film for Restoration" initiative, which aims to involve individuals, entrepreneurs, and cinema lovers in the process of bringing old Albanian films back to life.
"Very happy that entrepreneur Teuta Doci will restore the film 'Mimoza Llastica', a film in which she also stars. Very soon we will show you fragments from the restored film, and we will also have its premiere," said Tanini.
According to him, the initiative is open to all those who want to contribute to the preservation of Albanian film, including other projects, including animated films.
"Anyone who loves Albanian cinema can contribute to saving and restoring a film," the announcement says.
In conclusion, Tanini thanked Doc for his contribution and announced that the premiere of the restored version of the film is expected very soon, which will bring back the emotions of an important era of Albanian cinema.
