After two days of intensive searching, the body of 37-year-old Armando Zajsi, who lost his life on June 15 while sailing on a jet ski, has been found and recovered from Lake Ulza.
According to information, Zajsi, a resident of Laç, disappeared after the boat he was traveling in capsized in the waters of the lake. Since the moment of the incident, authorities have launched a large-scale search operation to find him.
Sources indicate that the 37-year-old's body was located by underwater drones at a depth of about 37 meters. Then, RENEA special forces divers intervened to extract the body from the lake waters.
The search and rescue operation mobilized a large number of state and local structures. The Armed Forces, the Navy, RENEA, the State Police, the Fire and Rescue Services, Civil Protection, as well as dozens of volunteers from other areas and cities participated in the action.
