Five heavy-duty vehicles were set on fire in a quarry in the village of Shpërdhet, in Kurbin. The incident was reported at around 02:30 on the morning of July 4 by citizen BA, who manages and uses the quarry where the incident occurred.
According to preliminary data, it is suspected that the fire was set by still unidentified persons. Immediately after the notification, the Police set up an investigative group, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances, identify the perpetrator or perpetrators, and fully document the case legally.
"On 04.07.2026, at around 02:30, citizen BA announced that in the village of Shpërdhet, at the quarry he administers and uses, 5 heavy-duty vehicles caught fire, suspected to have been set on fire by still unidentified persons.
"An investigative group was immediately established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work to clarify the circumstances, identify the perpetrator(s), and complete legal documentation of the case ," the police announced.
