The approach to the Presidency of some of the DP's exponents seems to have been considered a major problem by Gazment Bardhi's boss.
When Gazment Bardhi, long ago, was caught with President Bajram Begaj, it was caught as a personal whim, as a perhaps subjective resentment of his with the head of state.
But, the officialization of such a political act as happened today, namely the request for the dismissal of the President of the Republic, was seen to be not a whim of Bardhi, or perhaps a somewhat internal problem, since both are from the Kavaja region.
Going into the search for logic, it is again difficult, as it seems that here we are dealing with the proverb "they don't care about the donkey, they fall for the camel". Because the political rival of the Democratic Party, the opponent to be defeated, attacked, accused, and perhaps politically killed is Edi Rama.
President Begaj is not an actor in the field, and has never even entered the game between the parties. As many times as they have asked to include him, it has been meaningless. In fact, it is not the first time that the opposition, namely the DP, changes or misses the target. Intentionally or unintentionally, this is another matter. To return to the case related to the event, the DP spent endless energy in the fight against Erion Veliaj since 2023, and today, strangely, we see a different behavior. It seems clear that we are dealing with a disappointment, or pretending to be disappointed. However, in essence, what does the opposition have to do with Bajram Begaj?
When normally, at least they have no reason to make him an enemy, even if it is what she or the people around her say that the President is a soldier of Edi Rama. In battle, the general, the commander, is attacked, so that victory or defeat has meaning.
A political battle against Begaj makes no sense, and why didn't the President enter the game like Ilir Meta, when he rejected government decrees, or annulled elections he had decreed himself. And held rallies in front of the Presidency. Begaj is not a political player to be defeated, because he does not lead any political party.
But, it seems that in this case the DP, namely Sali Berisha, thinks differently. He is considering the Presidency as a political target to be attacked. What naturally comes as a hypothesis in the causes of this somewhat absurd quarrel, is not at all the "thesis" that Dr. Bajrami works at the Presidency during the day and at a private clinic at night. A phantasmagoria that seems to come from a mind that has abstinence with the white blouse that just entered the headquarters of the Presidency. But this is more than a constitutional issue, it is a mental health problem. However, the problem has as much to do with politics as you want. The approach to the Presidency, of some of the exponents of the DP, seems to have been considered a big problem by Gazment Bardhi's boss.
In fact, the headquarters of the Presidency of Bajram Begaj has more democrats than any other Albanian state headquarters led by DP exponents. Not even Sali Berisha, Aleksandër, Meksi, Jozefina Topalli, etc., have had so many high-ranking political exponents of the DP employed. From Ilir Rusmali, Klement Zguri, Ferdinand Xhaferraj, Arta Sakja, but also other names coming from the right, work as professionals in their fields in the most important institution of the state.
A fact that theoretically should not be a problem for the DP, which could at least have simpler bridges or communication contacts. But the fact is that the DP does not communicate with the presidency precisely about the existence of the Democrats there, since Sali Berisha considers them traitors.
That's why Bajram Begaj is being attacked, because he is considered a supporter of a group within the right that disagrees with Sali Berisha. Maybe even some new group or party in the future. Could it be true? It would be very spectacular, after all, why have so many democrats gathered in the presidency? The conspiracy theories and the unbridled fantasy that SHQUP can produce are simply in their infancy...
