The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, who reported to the Laws Committee, responded to the question of the DP MP, Belind Këlliçi, confirming that the administrator of the Albanian Electric Power Corporation (KESH), Erald Elezi, has been taken as a defendant by SPAK.
Through this criminal case, we can almost conclude that SPAK is continuing unwaveringly in its criminal crackdown on senior state administrators.
And time is clearly moving towards continuing the crackdown on high-level state corruption.
On this occasion, we must explain that in high international investigative practice it is recognized that the arrest and conviction of the leaders of high-level state corruption is, and has been, a success in the fight against organized crime at the highest levels of state administration.
And of course, this criminal legal line will obviously continue in Albania.
Let's see how the arrest and the initiation of criminal proceedings against such criminal offenses, such as high-level corruption and organized crime in the senior state administration, will go.
Therefore, starting from this well-known legal-criminal logic, we must raise the question:
Will this newly launched criminal process reach the top ranks of the Ministry of Energy in Tirana?
But in the meantime, we are certain of one thing: the state damages that have been found in Albania's energy sector, especially in powerful hydroelectric power plants, are thought to be very high.
