The reasons for Berisha's distancing syndrome from Tirana!

If things are viewed coldly and from the outside, Binaj's candidacy has actually broken a cliché created for the DP that brings to Tirana a character either directly or indirectly from Tropoja or the north.

The never-ending debate over whether Florian Binaj is an independent candidate or a Berisha candidate has consumed and will continue to consume time and discussion, however, it is unlikely that this discussion will ultimately bring any conclusion.

After all, Binaj, although not yet officially registered, is being propagated and spun by the doctor's most classic PR entourage. The appearance of Fahri Balliu, who has compared the "independent" candidate supported by the DP to Donald Trump and Arnold Schwarzenegger, speaks volumes.

First, the fact that so far the independent emergence of an independent candidate from the DP is not being expected or is not being properly embraced by those circles or interest groups that the DP has or has had in the capital. Because in reality, apart from some support from Agron Shehaj and Adriatik Lapaj, who are part of the opposition that emerged from the DP, the well-known influential figures in what they call the "opposition people" or the "democrats" have not yet expressed their support.

If things are viewed coldly and from the outside, Binaj's candidacy has actually broken a cliché created for the DP that brings to Tirana a character either directly or indirectly from Tropoja or the north. But today we are not at that stage, even if he is from Sali Berisha's village.

Even as it emerges from the viral dialogues cut from the reality show reels, the characters who come from the north no longer have that 90s cliché. Albania and the generations have changed so much that politics cannot catch up with the pace of its logic of thought. Because as we have seen, it thinks according to its own size.

However, one thing has remained unchanged, Sali Berisha's fixation or complex to show that he will not be active in the Tirana campaign. A complex that he has shown since Besnik Mustafaj's candidacy against Edi Rama in 2000, to Ngjela in 2003, to Basha in 2011 and so on.

Even Florjan Binaj said, most likely with the understanding of the central PR, that he will campaign without Sali Berisha.

Which is not right, because if the opposition supports the 'independent candidate', the first one to decide is Sali Berisha. Even if he doesn't appear in the window or at meetings, the opposition's spirit, strategy and tactics are still drafted from his office.

Which is normal, since today Sali Berisha is a politician who has entered into a war with the West, starting with the USA, Great Britain and EU countries, prosecutors and judges, with public opinion giving him a negative grade without rest, however the opposition "civil society" does not call it a problem. And here, there are many nuances, some say that it is not enough, some others tire of finding comparative examples, and others have the answer on the tip of their tongue: the democrats love him! Which is relatively true, although not completely. This is debatable and requires elaboration, however the doctor is not rejected within his own people. After all, Enver Hoxha is not only not rejected within the left-wing electorate, but the theses and discussions about the "good things" but also the "mistakes" of the commander do not stop.

In reality, we are in this phase, especially after 2008, when the political debate is brought about by the propaganda dens of "leaders who sometimes make mistakes, because they are human beings". And everyone knows this fact, and the electorate is very clear in all the verdicts it gives vote after vote. Then why is Berisha hiding from Tirana? This is exactly where the rabbit is hiding! After all, Berisha, by distancing himself, demands, or rather orders, that if he has decided not to enter the field, everyone else should do the same. That is why no one within the "democratic people" is speaking out. After all, what do they need, do we have an "independent" candidate? Let him stay that way!
