MPs with "sheikh-like" wealth, but they also receive 75 thousand lek for a passport...
As prices are rising and a large portion of citizens face financial difficulties, the only ones who don't really care about the price of oil or the cost of living are the members of the Albanian Parliament. In addition to increasing their salaries, bringing them to over 300 thousand new lek per month, they can't get enough of per diems and travel.
According to Parliament data, for the period January-April, a total of 40,608,208 lek were spent on MPs' entertainment. Of these, 11,200,560 were expenses for plane tickets; 24,824,738 lek for fuel; 1,178,610 lek for drinking water and 3,404,300 lek for repairs to the cars used by the Speaker, Deputy Speakers and staff.
But what makes the situation even more painful is that the MPs, despite having millions, have each received 75 thousand lek reimbursement for the issuance of passports. During the month of January, the following received reimbursement for passports: Adi Qose, Asfloral Haxhiu, Enriketa Jaho, Genti Lakollari, Ledina Alolli, Manjola Luku and Sara Mila .
While during February and March, according to data made public today, Ilgli Cara, Ardit Bido, Fidel Kreka and Kliti Hoti have benefited . The latter is a businessman. He has declared assets worth millions of euros in the HIDAKPKI. He has several apartments, shares, a car worth 70 thousand euros, etc. But, apparently, Kliti Hoti "feels sorry" for those 7,500 lek and will take them from citizens' taxes.
According to other data, during February alone, 2,175,800 lek were spent from the budget as telephone reimbursements; 4,503,499 lek for fuel and 14,268,101 lek for per diems. Meanwhile, almost 300 million old lek were paid for MPs' salaries in February.
For the month of March, a total of 22,953,587 lek were paid for MPs' benefits, while 29,315,533 lek were paid for salaries. / Pamphlet

E sakte pasuri dhe vlera te medha parash qe i marrin nga taksat e popullit por nuk kan kuptuar nje gje qe ne fund vetem 2meter katrore pasuri kane per tu ngelur dhe me faqe te zeze do te te shkojne drejt parkimit te fundit.
Këta qenkan me të vërtetë njerëz shumë të varfër nga ana e pagesës, po ata persona që janë të operuar në kokë dy herë dhe marrin një pagesë raporte prej 120000 lekë të vjetra dhe ilaqet llogarite sa ju duhen në një muaj etj, etj .
