Since December 2021, Klodian Zoto of the Elbasan, Tirana and Fier landfills has been wanted as a convicted felon for fraud, forgery and theft of public funds, having escaped 3 days before his arrest.
But in addition to his 8 businesses that continue to operate and have had their seized assets returned, existing businesses untouched, and new businesses opened after the SPAK crackdown, Ilza Zoto (Bezhani), Klodian Zoto's wife, also has businesses.
She has entered the business of medicines and pharmaceutical products, with her company "PharmaLife Southeast", established on September 17, 2024, with the address: "Jeronim De Rada" Street, Building No. 1, Entrance 25, Unit No. 2 - Tirana, which is the address of several businesses of her husband Klodian Zoto.
Although Ilza Zoto (Bezhani) has been registered for 20 months at the National Business and Tax Center, her company "PharmaLife Southeast" has no data on turnover, contracts, income, expenses and profits.
But there is information that in this business, Klodian Zoto's wife has become part of the drug smuggling group, in collaboration with the DP MP, Kliti Hoti, and his brother-in-law Dorian Sadiku, both importers, wholesale and retail drug traders and with a pharmaceutical network under their ownership.
On December 28, 2023, SPAK conducted a search of the premises of the company "Delta Pharma" in Tirana, as well as several other pharmacies linked to MP Hoti and his brother-in-law Dorian Sadiku, because when Ilir Beqaj was minister, they benefited from manipulated contracts worth millions of euros.
Meanwhile, MP Kliti Hoti was dismissed from his position as the representative director of the global pharmaceutical company "Novartis" in Albania, based in Basel, Switzerland, after information that he was smuggling medicines, abusing the name and documents of this company.
Along with him, Klodian Zoto's wife, Mrs. Ilza Zoto (Bezhani), has also entered the abusive market of medicines and pharmaceutical products, using her company for fictitious distribution documents in the pharmaceutical network and supplies to companies that receive medicine tenders.
At the same time, it has become part of the Albanian Pharmaceutical Association, led by DP MP Kliti Hoti, and part of the "Union of Pharmaceutical Businesses" association, led by his brother-in-law Dorian Sadiku.
According to documents at the National Business Center, Ilza Zoto (Bezhani), 5 months before the establishment of her company "PharmaLife Southeast", specifically on March 24, 2024, purchased shares and became a partner in the mobile company "ONE Albania".
As documented, the company "ONE Albania" is owned by a Hungarian mafia clan, registered in the name of Gellért Zoltán Jászai, with friendly ties and interests with the former Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán./ Pamphlet
