A young man took the floor at the 43rd protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where he leveled accusations against the government regarding technology and digitalization projects, demanding transparency in the use of public funds.
During his speech, he claimed that a project to build a data center would have a much higher cost than initially stated.
"In Albania, they are building a data center where 100 million euros will be taken. With signatures and contracts, those 100 million euros go over 200 million euros. Where are the Albania 1 and 2 satellites? A lot of money has disappeared. There are only 500 million euros that have disappeared with technology," he declared during the protest.
Following his speech, the protester compared, according to him, spending on technological projects with the lack of support for pensioners and other public sectors.
"How rich we were! Not for pensioners, not for healthcare ," he said.
