
A citizen from Sweden took the floor at the 43rd protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, expressing his support for the protesters and delivering a speech to the attendees.
The tourist, who said he is closely following developments in Albania, stated that he feels concerned by what he described as corruption and called on citizens to believe in their own strength.
"I come from Sweden and I want to say one thing. I am tired of corruption, of money-hungry politicians who want to steal from you. You are the majority, they are the minority. It is time for you to take your destinies into your own hands," he said during his speech.
The tourist's statement was met with applause and cheers from the rally participants, who continued the protest with calls against the government.
The protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office has entered its 43rd day, while organizers have stated that the rallies will continue in the coming days.
