The 43rd citizens' protest has ended. After marching for about an hour through the streets of Tirana, the protesters returned to the boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office to close their rally.
With calls for the removal of the old political caste, protesters thronged the streets of the capital, calling on fellow citizens to join the protest. Leaders have announced that the protests will continue until their demands are met.
We recall that the protest began as an opposition to the tourism project in Zvërnec, but in recent weeks it has transformed into a broader movement against the government and the political system in the country. The organizers have stated that they will continue the mobilization until their demands are met.
