A protester from France took part in the 20th anti-government protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where she delivered an emotional speech with messages addressed to both Albanian citizens and European Union institutions.
She stated that she had been closely following the developments of the protest for 20 days and that participating in the rally was a moment she had been waiting for with emotion.
In her speech, the protester said that citizens from different countries around the world are uniting to raise their voices against injustices and demand change. Comparing the situation in Albania with that in France, she praised the peaceful way the protest was organized, describing it as a civic model.
"Oh mother Albania, may your house be filled to the brim, I have been dreaming of this moment for 20 days, I have followed you from the moment I woke up until I fell asleep, When I closed my eyes I heard "Rama resign". We are all together today from all over the world to expose all those who have made us eat.
I come from France where people, although they have a great culture of democracy, are expressing their dissatisfaction with extremism. Albania is showing a wonderful example that a revolution can start from nature and flamenco. I have a message for Von der Leyen, the people who deserve to enter Europe are these, not this government. We need you as much as you need us. We are Europe", she said.
