US Vice President JD Vance has backed Donald Trump's decision to resume nuclear tests. As Russia reacted sharply, Vance argued that the tests are important for national security.
" It's an important part of American national security to make sure our nuclear arsenal is functioning properly ," he told reporters outside the White House.
" We have a significant arsenal, obviously. The Russians have a significant nuclear arsenal. The Chinese have a significant nuclear arsenal. Sometimes we have to test it to make sure it's working properly ," he said.
