After dizzying days filled with tension between Hamas and Israel, people are finding some peace after Hamas handed over the bodies of two Israeli captives to Israel through the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Now, for the Palestinians here in Gaza, they expect Israel to release a new wave of bodies of Palestinians who died after being detained after October 7, 2023, within the next few days, as part of the deal.
But they are still quite skeptical about the possibility of Israel renewing attacks on Gaza under previous pretexts, accusing Hamas of deliberately delaying the handover of the bodies of Israeli prisoners.
Israel has warned Hamas to fully implement the ceasefire agreement, otherwise it will act decisively against the movement in Gaza.
Which means that more waves of airstrikes could come at any moment, leaving the entire community here in Gaza in limbo and even struggling to come to terms with this reality.
