Rubin Kazan is playing a friendly match against Orenburg, as part of preparations for the new season. The first half ended in a 1-1 draw, while Mirlind Daku was the protagonist for his team.
The Albanian striker opened the scoring in the 25th minute, successfully finishing off an assist from Dardan Shabanhaxhaj. This is Daku's first goal on the eve of the new season with the Rubin Kazan jersey.
This was the 27-year-old's first appearance with Rubin Kazan this summer, while for the Russian team it is the second friendly match in the preparatory phase.
Meanwhile, Mirlind Daku's name continues to be linked with a possible transfer. The Albanian national team striker has been rumored to be a target for Spartak Moscow, while it remains to be seen whether he will change teams during the summer transfer window.
