Bill Gates has said it was a "stupid thing" to spend time with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, regretting any contact he had with him. In a recent interview with 9 News Australia, the Microsoft co-founder stressed that he regrets every minute he spent with Epstein and publicly apologized for the decision.
Gates is also an email included in the recent release of files related to me, calling it “fake.” According to him, the email known as the “dear Bill” one, dated July 2013, was not sent to him.
" Apparently, Jeffrey wrote an email to himself. That email was not sent back. It was fake," Gates said, adding that he doesn't know what Epstein was thinking when he wrote it.
In the same context, Epstein had alleged that Gates had asked him to find antibiotics to secretly give to his former network, Melinda French Gates. These allegations have been categorically denied by Gates and his representatives.
Speaking about the nature of the meetings with him, Gates explained that their contacts were close.
"It was actually true that I was alone at some dinners. I had never been to the Island, had never met a woman before. I was a fool to spend time with her. I was one of many people who regret having met her before ," he said.
Meanwhile, before the interviews were published, a Gates spokesperson reacted to the allegations by calling them absolutely absurd and a false community.
