England-Argentina, a very competitive match but no goal in the first half
The semi-final between England and Argentina ended in a 0-0 draw after the first 45 minutes, in a very intense and high-paced duel held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The match started with tension in the first minutes, when a harsh tackle by Enzo Fernandez on Eliot Anderson caused a clash between players from both teams.
The first half was characterized by many physical duels and frequent interruptions due to fouls, while clear scoring opportunities were few.
England came close to taking the lead in the 32nd minute, but John Stones' header went wide.
Argentina responded in the 38th minute, when Enzo Fernandez tried a powerful shot from distance, which went just wide of the crossbar.
Despite the intensity and great rivalry on the field, neither team managed to create a shot on goal during the first half, which ended with a score of 0-0.
