Journalist Lavdrim Lita has made a strong statement as he said that Flamur Noka has offered to resign from the position of Secretary General of the Democratic Party several times, but his departure has not been accepted by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.
According to Lita, Berisha wants Noka to continue holding this position, as, according to him, he considers him a key figure for the leadership and management of the party.
"I will tell you as news, that I know a long time ago, Mr. Noka has offered his resignation to Mr. Berisha several times, but it is Mr. Berisha who insists that Mr. Noka stay there, because he wants him there, to maneuver the entire party according to his political goals and objectives."
Anyone can come out and deny that Mr. Noka will leave, but they won't let him. Because if Mr. Noka leaves, it means that someone else takes responsibility, while the president should take responsibility after every election loss. They are not sacrifices, they are techniques... In the DP, it is Mr. Berisha who decides and Mr. Noka who carries out Mr. Berisha's orders. Mr. Noka remembers 90 percent of the things Mr. Berisha says! Not only in Parliament, but also in conversations with people. This has been going on for years", said Lita.
Meanwhile, the counting of votes for the Secretary General, vice-chairmen and secretariats has begun at the Democratic Party headquarters. Berisha said that the candidate names will bring a renewal to the party.
