The citizens' march has begun as part of the 48th day of the protest taking place in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Hundreds of citizens joined the rally this Friday, continuing their protest and their demands to the government without interruption.
After gathering in "Skënderbej" Square and delivering speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, the protesters began their march through the streets of the capital, accompanied by numerous police forces.
During the march, the crowd repeatedly chanted slogans against the government and the political class. Protesters chanted slogans such as: "Albania demands revolution," "New Albania," "Your end has come," "We will not stop without resigning," and "Rama, resign!".
In chorus, the participants also repeated the call "Rama SPAK you!", while another slogan heard during the march was "Parliament of crime".
With national flags, placards and banners in their hands, the protesters marched through some of Tirana's main streets, attracting the attention of citizens along the route.
According to the organizers, at the end of the march, the participants will return to the Prime Minister's Office building, where they will close the day's protest, while they have warned that the rallies will continue until their demands are met.
