After filling up Italy Square, thousands of citizens continue the march in the capital. Participation remains high, while calls against Rama and the political caste are heard on every street.
The civic revolt shows no signs of tiring. Even after several hours of protest, thousands of citizens continue to march in the streets of Tirana, maintaining the same pace and the same massive participation that characterized this evening's rally.
After the symbolic stop at "Italia" Square, where a few hours ago Edi Rama held an event for the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party, the crowd moved towards the country's main institutions.
Currently, protesters have arrived near the Albanian Parliament, while the surrounding streets are filled with citizens marching under national flags and banners with messages against the government and the political class.
"Rama go away", "Albania is ours", "Revolution", "The end has come for you" and "Resign" are some of the calls heard continuously throughout the march.
Contrary to expectations after more than two weeks of mobilization, the turnout remains very high. Citizens continue to join the crowd along the way, while organizers talk about one of the evenings with the largest turnout since the protests began.
The march is taking place peacefully, but with strong political undertones. Protesters are repeating demands for the removal of Edi Rama, early elections, and the end of what they describe as a political caste that has dominated Albanian public life for decades.
As the night progresses, the revolt seems far from over. The crowd continues to move through the streets of the capital, showing that civic mobilization remains high and that the protest has no intention of stopping.
