Analyst Andi Tela told what happened last night on the Elbasan-Librazhd road, where it is believed that the car of the person who executed businessman Mondi Mëhalla on the outskirts of Elbasan passed.
Tela said that, as in the case of the Rinas assassination, there were no police officers on the streets in Elbasan before the murder occurred.
"The place where the murder took place is at the entrance to the city of Elbasan, when coming from Librazhd. From the village of Dragostunje beyond Librazhd to this place here are 27 kilometers and between 7-8 pm on the evening that I was here, there were 27 kilometers of traffic, with cars moving at five kilometers per hour. The murder took place a little later, but this traffic continued a lot, because all the cars that had been in Korça, in Greece, were returning.
From that moment until the entrance to Elbasan, I have not seen a traffic policeman regulating traffic. So, in 27 kilometers of traffic you do not see a traffic policeman, a traffic police car that simply maintains traffic, because people start overtaking, blocking the road. And in this regard, with no policeman, not even here at the intersection, to regulate traffic, the way it happened, the place where it happened, the perpetrator should have had an absolute guarantee that he would walk 6 kilometers and there would be no police car to come in front of him, he would never be stopped. The atmosphere where the murder takes place is more or less the same as at the Rinas intersection. We had the same scheme there too, so there were no policemen ," Tela said on the show "Të Paekspozuarit".
