Protesters against the project in Zvërnec have managed to settle in front of the Prime Minister's Office, after a clash with the police who had placed a metal fence near the Lana bridge. After the initial tensions and clashes with the officers, the protest continued normally.
Upon arriving in front of the prime minister's office, citizens and activists launched a call against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the project they oppose in Zvërnec.
Numerous calls were made in chorus during today's protest, ranging from those for the "resignation" of the prime minister to accusations of a sold-out opposition.
Other chants from the protesters included: “ Death to traitors, Albania of Albanians” , “ Rama in prison, Berisha in prison ”, “Opposition sold out ”, “ We will bring the curly pelican to Surrel ”.
We remind you that the protest against the project in Zvërnec is taking place for the fourth day in a row. Citizens and activists are demanding a ban on the investment, while the government continues to defend it as a strategic project for the development of tourism and the country's economy.
