Protesters marched through the streets of the capital with chants such as "New Albania", "Revolution" and "Edi Rama resigns", and after arriving in front of the Prime Minister's Office they continued with their speeches.
In his speech, the protester accused the government of initially ignoring the protest, while now, according to him, it is trying to divert attention from the citizens' demands.
"Maybe many of these people here didn't think the protest would reach this point, so they ignored us at first. We've seen how terrified they are and they haven't been able to find a place to go for 3 days. They're inventing scenarios to escape the truth. The demands that we've been calling for together in this square for 25 days in a row. They're trying to fool us into thinking they're damaging tourism. We've invented protest tourism. We showed the world that we're also hospitable, civilized. An extraordinary mobilization across Europe and the world these days. Even internationally, they've found out that he's a corrupt prime minister ," he said.
