With banners, slogans and calls against the government, protesters gathered in front of Parliament during the plenary session.
The protest held this Tuesday in front of the Albanian Parliament was accompanied by tensions, as protesters threw eggs towards the Parliament building, where the plenary session was taking place.
Hundreds of citizens gathered in front of the Parliament demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government. Despite the high temperatures, the protesters continued the rally with banners and slogans against the majority and the Parliament.
"Down with the dictatorship!", "Criminal parliament!", "Illiterate parliament!" and "Cancel the laws!" were some of the chants heard during the protest.

The protesters also responded to the statement made a few days ago by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who addressed the protesters with the phrase "F*ck you!". Under the rhythms of the famous song by the band Queen, "We Will Rock You", they chanted in chorus: "Rama, Rama, f*ck you!".
Among the slogans held at the protest were messages such as "Albania wants revolution", "F*ck you Parliament", and "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", expressing dissatisfaction with both the government and the political class as a whole.
Some protesters have placed a trash can near the door of the Parliament. The action has been accompanied by chants: "This is your place!"
Protesters are also heard shouting slogans against Prime Minister Rama and the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha: "Rama in the trash, Berisha in the trash."

Meanwhile, students have chosen another way to protest. They also have a call for the police, who they emphasize are operating with double standards.
"We are against double standards. Students should not be prosecuted, while cars block the streets of Tirana, blocking traffic. We are in protest and our demands are clear. Fine the MPs and do not prosecute the students," they say.

The protest took place in parallel with the plenary session of the Parliament and was organized as part of the continuation of the rallies against the government, with the main demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
