Shkruar nga PamfletiThe Israeli army has continued military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon, announcing that it has struck more than 200 targets over the past 24 hours.
According to a statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Platform X, the air force continued to attack Hezbollah infrastructure and support ground forces operations in southern Lebanon. The IDF also stressed that it had carried out strikes on rocket launchers to prevent attacks towards Israeli territory.
The Lebanese state news agency reported that three people were killed in the town of Jibsheet as a result of the attacks.
On the other hand, Hezbollah has continued its attacks on Israel. According to reports, several drones and about 10 rockets were launched from Lebanese territory on Saturday, with no reports of casualties.
Meanwhile, Iran has called for a broader ceasefire in Lebanon. The semi-official Iranian news agency Nour quoted officials as saying that the ceasefire had not been fully implemented and that the United States must ensure Israel's respect. According to the same source, the Iranian delegation at the talks in Islamabad is closely following the issue.
Israel has so far refused to discuss a ceasefire with Hezbollah, but has agreed to start formal peace negotiations with Lebanon next week.
