The outskirts of the city of Vlora have been engulfed by fires that have spread rapidly, favored by high temperatures and strong winds.
The flames have approached residential areas, creating a danger to nearby homes. Firefighters are on the ground and are working to isolate and extinguish the fires.
Due to the difficult terrain, the intervention is being carried out mainly with emergency vehicles, as firefighting vehicles are unable to penetrate the area.
The situation continues to be monitored, while forces on the ground are trying to stop the flames from spreading to homes.
